Orlando, FL – The Florida Hospital Association (FHA) announces its 2024-2025 Board of Trustees. Dr. Larry Antonucci, president and CEO of Lee Health System was chosen to serve as chair of the Board.
Elected by the association’s more than 240 member hospitals and health care systems, the FHA Board of Trustees serves as the association’s governing body and guides its strategic initiatives. The Board of Trustees is comprised of health care leaders from member hospitals who collaborate to meet the ever-evolving needs of Floridians, visitors, and the state’s health care system.
“Serving as FHA’s Board Chair is both an honor and opportunity to continue working with my hospital colleagues, FHA leadership, and state and federal policymakers to strengthen our health care system for the benefit of all Floridians,” said Dr. Antonucci. “FHA is the united voice for Florida hospitals and brings us together to collaborate, share ideas, and advocate as one to drive innovation, enhance patient care, and secure health care-friendly policies and investments.”

“Serving as Chair of FHA’s Board of Trustees this past year was a tremendous privilege, and I’m proud of our work as an industry to advance meaningful health care investments and policy,” said Gino Santorio, Immediate Past Chair of FHA’s Board of Trustees and president and CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center. “I look forward to continue serving Dr. Antonucci and the entire Board to advocate for Florida’s hospitals and the hospitals and the communities we serve.
