Addressing Workforce Issues Using "New Models of Care"

Please join the Florida Hospital Association (FHA) and the CNO Leadership Council of the Florida Organization for Nurse Leaders (FONL) on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. ET for a program that will focus on how implementation of “new models of care” can effectively address current workforce issues and prepare the health care workforce for the future.
The health care workforce continues to face challenges and pressure to respond to the workforce issues exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Issues such as staffing shortages, burnout, increased labor costs, and recruitment and retention strategies became the focus for hospital and health care leaders in every setting.
This program will include presentations from nursing leaders throughout the state of Florida who will share their perspectives, challenges, strategies and successes in addressing health care workforce issues through implementation of “New Models of Care” that engage the full spectrum of a talented and engaged workforce that supports accessible, high quality and cost-effective health care in their organization.
