PSAW:   New AHA Patient Safety Initiative and FHA Activities

To kick-off Patient Safety Awareness Week, FHA is hosting a call on Monday, March 11, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm ET with the American Hospital Association to provide an overview of their new National Patient Safety Initiative. This new program is a multi-year, voluntary initiative to provide hospitals with tools and data to advance patient safety, a platform for hospitals to share their improvement stories, highlight and resource successful local innovations to a national scale and to inform public policy discussions to support, spread and sustain safety improvement.  

Leaders from AHA will share the details of the program, what is available for hospitals and how you can get involved.  Additionally, FHA will share the 2024 priorities and new initiatives that are rolling out later this year.
