Starting in October 2017, 95 hospitals (hyperlink to list?) committed to working together to learn, share and implement strategies to reduce incidences of harm in eleven areas (hyperlink?)  and readmissions. Throughout the two years, resources, education and support are provided to help hospital succeed.

Funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, this work builds off the Partnership for Patient's Hospital Engagement Network, which ran 2012-2016, preventing 31,000 cases of harm and avoiding almost $200 million in health care costs in Florida.

FHA MTC HIIN is part of the American Hospital Association's Health Research and Education Trust (HRET) HIIN which includes 31 states and almost 1,700 hospitals working together to improve care in America.
