FHA Political Committee

One Voice. One Solution.

What is the FHAPC?
The Florida Hospital Association Political Committee (FHAPC) was established in 1976 to organize political action on behalf of hospitals. FHAPC is a voluntary, non-profit and non-partisan organization regulated by the Florida Division of Elections.

The FHAPC ensures our members' voice is heard by supporting candidates and elected officials who value our mission of delivering the highest quality care to our patients.

Issues that have a direct impact on our hospitals are constantly being debated and dissected. The FHAPC, and our partnership with the American Hospital Association Political Action Committee (AHAPAC), is the most effective way to ensure hospitals have a united voice when decisions are made that impact the delivery of health care in our state.

Contributions can be made online.

Who may contribute to FHAPC?
Any employee, trustee, or volunteer of a Florida hospital may join FHAPC as a personal member. For-profit subsidiaries of non-profit organizations may also make corporate contributions. Investor-owned organizations may join as institutional members.

All contributions to FHAPC are voluntary and you may choose not to contribute. Any amount given, or the decision not to give, will not advantage or disadvantage you. Contributions or gifts to the FHAPC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. FHAPC is required to report the name and mailing address of every contributor as well as the occupation and employer of all contributors whose contributions exceed $100 in a calendar year. Please note that FHAPC transfers federally permissible contributions to the American Hospital Association PAC.
